Applicants must make a donation to get Vanuatu Citizenship By Investment. A “pre-approval” stage is required, which includes a Vanuatu Government background check on the applicant. Application Processing Time: 2-3 months
StEP 1 - month 1
Upload a verified true copy of your current passport (cover and biodata page), as well as a Police Clearance Report, a copy of their birth certificate, and a personal profile to the Global DSP Processing and Due Diligence Provider. This pre-approval process takes 7 to 10 days for the provider to perform due diligence on each family member.
STEP 2 - month 1
Following FIU's written assurance of "pre-approval," the Applicant completes all paperwork and prepares full payment. The application is sent to the Citizenship Commission on the last Friday of each month. Eight days before the Citizenship Committee meeting, the application form must be received. From there one, it takes 30 to 60 days for the Commission to issue a decision.
StEP 4 - month 3
After the Citizenship Commission approves the application, the Representative receives an Agreement in Principle (AIP). The Applicant's final move is to take their oath. The Commissioner of Oath of the Vanuatu Government will commission this. The new citizen receives their Certificate of Vanuatu Citizenship and their new Vanuatu Passport during this ceremony.
